Quotations are valid for acceptance in writing within thirty (30) days of the date of the quotation unless an extension of validity has been agreed upon in writing or the quotation has been previously withdrawn.
Our terms of payment are on presentation of the invoice (every 30 days), unless otherwise stipulated. Material on site will be claimed accordingly. We will be issuing a Pro-Forma invoice for partial completion as the Project progresses.
All goods supplied remain the property of AFRERGO (Pty) Ltd until paid for in full.
This quotation, where applicable, is submitted in accordance with the requirements of the Automatic Sprinkler Inspection Bureau or SAQCC
All workmanship and equipment is guaranteed for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of completion, fair wear and tear excepted.
Unless specifically agreed, this offer does not include any builders, painters, masons, brick setters, carpenters, plasterers work; nor trenching, backfilling, and making good of ceilings.
This quotation assumes that we will have continuity of contract and be able to work in reasonably clear areas, as well as upon hard and even surfaces where the erection of scaffolding proves necessary. Scaffolding has been allowed to facilitate work to a maximum height of 4 meters, unless otherwise stipulated.
Our quotation is based on normal working hours, and should any overtime be required, not as a result of negligence or lack of performance on our part, the cost of such overtime would be an extra to the contract.
Should the work be carried out on an existing water-filled system, we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen water damage.
We reserve the right to alter individual prices should all work not proceed simultaneously. This quote is subject to the foreign exchange rate of today’s date and fluctuations have not been allowed for. If you are a first-time customer, you may be liable to a credit check failing, for which payment in full upfront may be required.
All costs incurred for water, electricity and ablution required to complete the installation will be for the client’s account.
No extraordinary support, brackets or in-rack back-to-back ties have been allowed.
Unless otherwise stipulated, our offer excludes fire engineering sign off, council submission and approvals.
Where our offer includes for designs, we will do so in accordance with the relevant codes, standards and/or Engineer’s instructions. We do not employ Professional Engineers and therefore do not carry Professional Indemnity. Furthermore, if required the cost are not included in our offer unless specifically stated.
Our offer includes for a 12 Month warranty on our works unless otherwise noted. This warranty extends only to our scope of works, cannot be enforced if piping is re-used or if an existing system has been inoperable for a duration of time and excludes any maintenance of the system. Should another contractor work on our fire system within our warranty period, this will void our warranty.
